Introduction

The Obaby Zezu Pramette Twin was inspired by the innovative and stylish Zezu pramette single pushchair. Obaby have created the Zezu pramette twin with style, practicality and value for money in mind. The Zezu twin has a list of amazing features as long as you arm and is incredibly adaptable, making it ideal for any growing family.

The unique feature that makes the Zezu pramette twin stand out compared to other twin pushchairs on the market, is that the Zezu twin seat units both convert into a carrycot/pram style mode, which is perfect for newborns…then when the child no longer needs to have this lie-flat pram mode, the seat is easily converted back to a toddler seat. We think this is a great features as it cuts out the need to buy a separate carrycot.

Practicality and Comfort

The Obaby Zezu pramette twin includes 2 identical seat units which are both suitable for use from birth to approximately 3 years. zezu twin parent facing The Zezu twin seat units are comfortably padded and include a 5-point padded safety harness, cosy headhugger and adjustable foot rest. Both seat units also include a padded bumper bar for extra safety, but this can be easily removed if not required.

Both of the seats can be adjusted independently to suit your individual children's needs. Both seats are easy to recline and have multiple positions. Included with the pushchair are two independent sun hoods. The sun hoods offer generous shade from the sun and protection from other elements. They both feature a viewing window in the top of the hood, helping you to keep an eye on what your little ones are up to.

The Zezu twin includes 2 cosy foot aprons which create a cosy pram/carrycot when in pram mode, but they can also be used when your children are older and using the seats in toddler mode to keep them protected from the elements.

The Zezu twin features a large shopping basket which runs beneath both twin seat units. The shopping basket is generous and slows you to fit a couple of bags of shopping or two baby changing bags. Zezu pramette twin also includes two individual raincovers, one to fit over each seat.

Adaptability

As we mentioned early both of the Zezu twin seat units can be converted in to a lie-flat pram style mode and then back to a toddler seat unit when the children are older. The great thing about the Zezu is the amount of seat position options that are available. For example the Zezu is suitable for twins, so you can have the seats in the carrycot/pram mode and have both seats either facing towards you or away from you.

The Zezu is also great for a newborn and a toddler, in this situation you could have the newborn in the pram mode facing towards you, and you could have the toddler in the toddler seat mode either facing towards you or facing out into the world. We love the flexibility the Zezu twin offers parents and children.

Manoeuvrability

The Zezu pramette twin features a single handle bar which runs the length of the pushchair, it is padded with foam for comfortable pushing. The fact that it is a single handle bar makes pushing and manoeuvring with one hand much easier than twin handled pushchairs. The handle bar height can also be easily adjusted to suit both taller and shorter parents.

The Zezu twin features two front lockable swivel wheels. The front wheels can be easily set to 'locked mode' making it easier to tackle more uneven terrain such as grass, cobbles, gravel and sand. When you are in an urban environment with smooth surfaces, such as a shopping centre, simply switch your wheels to 'swivel mode', this allows the Zezu to effortlessly glide and manoeuvre.

The Zezu is quite heavy, weighing 24.5kg, but this is to be expected for a twin pushchair as it needs to be sturdy enough for 2 children.
