Prams are similar to pushchairs in that they are usually heavier and sturdier than a stroller. The seat unit reclines all the way to a flat position suitable for a newborn. The seat unit can usually be positioned either forward or rearward facing. Some have the unique feature whereby the seat unit can turn into a bassinet and then back to a normal pushchair seat again.

3 Wheel pushchairs have as the name suggests 3 wheels. There are two main types of 3 wheeler; urban / city 3 wheelers which are small and compact , and are designed for use on smooth and flat terrain. All terrain 3 wheelers, which are generally bigger and heavier and have much larger wheels which are usually air filled. All terrain 3 wheelers are designed for use over bumpy and uneven terrain.
