The Elea Pushchair is one of the latest offerings from Maxi Cosi. The Elea is super stylish and modern and is a real eye catcher!

The Elea is a well made quality pushchair that will last a long time. It is suitable for use from birth to approximately 3.5 years.

Comfort:

The Elea features a very comfortable padded seat unit with a 5-point safety harness. The seat fabric is wipe clean making it very practical.

The seat has 3 recline positions which are easy to adjust, the recline control is situated at the back of the seat. When your child is seated in the Elea they can sit upright, a medium recline snoozing position or completely lay flat for optimum comfort.

The Seat unit can be forward or rearward facing, giving you the option of having your baby face you when they are younger, and as they get older and look to look around they can face forwards. The seat is simple to take on and off the chassis and to change to forward or rearward facing….no fiddling or messing around!

Practicality:

The Elea features an adjustable handle bar, with three different height options, making it comfortable to push for taller or shorter parents.

At around 13kg the Elea is not the lightest of pushchairs, but it is very sturdy and has a unique compact fold. You can fold the Elea with or without the seat unit attached, with the seat unit in place the fold is reasonably small (Maxi Cosi call it the 'Daily Fold'). Simply press two buttons on the right of the handle and one on the left, then push down and it collapses to flat.

If you remove the seat unit before folding, the fold is much more compact. This is called the 'Optimum fold', which is achieved by standing it upright on it's front wheels and lifting the carry handle in between the rear wheels. The whole frame then contracts horizontally, so you're left with a stroller size frame!

Manoeuvrability:

The Elea comes with large rear wheels and front lockable swivel wheels, cleverly the control for locking the front wheel is located at the side of the pushchair, which means you don't need to go around to the front and adjust them. The wheels are made from hard moulded foam, so you don't need to worry about getting a puncture.

Elea also features high performance suspension making it great for manoeuvring over all different types of terrain comfortable for you and baby.

The large shopping basket is no-nonsense and easy to access even with the seat in place. The brakes are are easy and flip-flop friendly, simply press the red pedal for brake on, and the blue pedal to realise the brake off.

Travel System Compatible:

Elea is suitable for use from birth, but is also travel system compatible. Simply combine with either the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix or Pebble infant car seats (Adaptors are included with the Elea Pushchair), and Maxi Cosi Carrycot to create a complete travel system.

Accessories:

Included with the Elea are the canopy, Baby Nest and raincover. The Baby Nest is cross between a normal footmuff and a baby swaddling blanket with a head hugger attached. The bottom flap covers baby then the two wings wrap over the top, resulting in cosy and comfy layered cocoon…perfect for newborns. It is well designed for multi purpose use, so that in the summer you can simply zip off the top layers to create a pushchair liner. Depending on the size of your baby it would be useful for approximately birth to 6 months.

The hood on the Elea is large with an extendable section for extra coverage and protection. It also features a pop out visor and a mesh viewing window to check on your little one.

The raincover is tailored to fit the Elea perfectly and is easy to fit with no velcro or poppers to deal with.
