The Maclaren Volo stroller is suitable for use from the age of 6 months to approximately 15kg. It is the lightest and simplest for life on the go!

Colours Available

It is available in 6 funky colours, these include: Sunflower, Flame, Pea Green, Scarlet on Black flame, Black on Black Frame, Ocean, Flame/Ocean Stripe. Some of the above are available on a silver frame, and some colours on a black frame.

About

As with all Maclaren pushchairs, the Volo has a high performance aluminium frame, that is extremely strong, yet very light weight. Maclaren are so confident with the quality of their pushchairs, that they offer a Sovereign lifetime warranty on the frame of every pushchair they manufacture (now that’s peace of mind to any parent!).

The light weight frame of the Volo stroller means that it weighs just 4kg! It is one of the most lightweight strollers on the market today. This makes lifting it in and out of the car, or on and off trains and buses a breeze. The Volo has an easy one-hand fold mechanism, taking just five seconds! It has a compact umbrella fold, making it very small to store at home or away. It will fit in even the smallest of car boots. It has a handy carry strap, making it easy to move around. It is the perfect holiday stroller, due to it size, weight and portability.

Ease of Use

The Maclaren Volo has a breathable mesh seat, and a fairly deep seat unit to add to your child’s comfort. The seat unit itself does not recline, it is in one fixed position, which is why it is only suitable from 6 months plus. The seat does not have any extra padding either unlike other models in the Maclaren range, but this helps to keep the stroller extra lightweight and compact when folded. The seat is removable and washable (this is a must have with sticky little fingers about!) It has a five point safety harness for added security, and a height adjustable shoulder harness for a perfect fit. The Buckle ring colour on the harness coordinates perfectly with the seat fabric colour. (these small touches add to the Volo’s great style). The ergonomically optimised, foam insulated handles make for comfortable pushing for mum and dad. The Volo also comes with an extra large square water resistant hood, for maximum coverage.

Lockable front swivel wheels, allow mum and dad to cruise around effortlessly with the Volo. Simply click the wheels into ‘locked’ mode, and the Volo will move easily over rougher terrain such as grass, cobble stone, sand and gravel. Then change to ‘Swivel’ mode, and the Volo is the perfect buggy for manoeuvring around the town on smoother surfaces. The volo is great for those families who want a very strong yet lightweight buggy. It is also useful for those where space is at a premium whether at home or in the car.

Parents will be pleased with the volo’s generous shopping basket. The foot operated linked parking brakes are easy and simple to apply. The Volo comes complete with a raincover, it fits snug over the front of the Volo stroller, including the hood. It simply attaches at the back of the pushchair by velcro and keeps your little one cosy and dry on those rainy days.

For folding down the Volo, simply put one foot underneath the back section, lift up with your foot, then press down the clip on the right hand side with your other foot as you do so, pulling the pushchair close to yourself and it simply folds fowards. Keep folding it forwards until you hear a click...that click is the Volo automatically locking together, which saves you time from fiddling about afterwards. It folds away very compactly and can be stored in your shopping basket, so it is always on hand in case of bad weather.
