About

The Grand Tour LX is the most luxurious yet modern pushchair that has ever been made. The Grand Tour’s uncompromising comfort and high performance design makes it a cut above the rest.

The innovative GT LX incorporates new high tech features never before seen in a stroller, such as safety lights operated via remote control, and a dashboard console with 'driving instruments', which is reminiscent of the one found in top-of-the-line cars. The dashboard includes a clock, temperature gauge and Strollometer® that measures how far and how fast mum is 'strolling' her way back into shape, via a wireless sensor.

The Grand Tour LX features ergonomically designed height adjustable handle. The handle is a single handle bar (which is easier to manoeuvre than a twin handled pushchair). In the centre of the handle bar you will find the built in dashboard computer, so you have easy access to all the great features it has to offer whilst you stroll. To the side of your handle bar, Maclaren have placed a handy cup holder...great for busy mums on the move!

Ease Of Use

The seat unit on the Grand Tour is wider than your average pushchair, and very comfortably padded, offering superior comfort for your baby. The seat unit has the option of 3 different recline positions, and can lay completely flat, making it excellent for nap times. The recline mechanism of the seat is very easy to use, allowing you to change the seat position with the use of just one hand!

The seat unit can be rear or forward facing, meaning that you can either have the seat facing towards you, or you can have it facing away. When baby is younger some mums prefer have baby facing towards them, and as they get older and like looking at their surroundings more, you can turn the seat to face away from you.

The Grand Tours five point safety harness will keep your little one safe and secure inside their seat. The shoulder straps are height adjustable, and have extra comfy padding around them, also included is a cosy head hugger which is especially great for younger babies.

The Grand Tour LX has four wheels, both with front and rear suspension, allowing for a smooth and comfortable ride. The front lockable swivel wheels allow maximum manoeuvrability over different types of terrain. When the wheels are in ‘locked’ mode, the GT LX will move more easily over rougher/uneven terrain such as cobblestone, gravel, sand and grass. When the wheels are switched to ‘swivel’ mode, the pushchair will glide and turn corners with ease on smoother surfaces....fantastic for getting around the city.

The Grand Tour LX will be unlike any other pushchair you have experienced before. It has two front lights underneath the footrest, which act as mini headlights to illuminate the way if you are walking at night. The lights are activated via remote control from your dashboard computer! Along with the Clock and temperature guage, the strollometer has to be one of the best features on the GT LX. The strollometer provides information on distance traveled, average and current speeds and is a great aid in keeping in helping new mums get back into shape.

The Pushchair comes with a wide range of amazing features such as, a canopy hood complete with an air vent, sun visor, Footmuff (Cosytoes) rain cover and mosquito net, an organizer that attaches to the handles, a cup holder, a luggage tag and storage and wheel bag covers for the wheels, which can be easily removed for storage and cleaning. Unlike other complete travel systems, this one features an easy one-hand fold system.

The Grand Tour LX makes a fantastic from birth travel system for parents who want it all in one convenient package. As well as the super hi- tech GT LX pushchair, the full travel system package has the option of a soft carry cot (suitable from birth to approximately 6 months). Also the Maclaren Recaro infant car seat, which clicks easily into place on the chasis of the GT LX.
